Special rules of the Gladiator Series
All tournaments and festivals of the Gladiator Series are governed by the current rules of the TDA (Tournament Directors Association), available at https://www.pokertda.com/, together with the special rules below. In case of doubt, the decision of the Tournament Director is final.
Deals
Deals are allowed in all casinos of the circuit. All deals will be reported to the media and the management.
When a deal is made or the tournament reaches Heads-Up, blind levels are reduced to half the announced time. If a deal is made with less than 5% of the remaining prizes in play, levels are reduced to 5 minutes.
The maximum number of players to make a deal is 6. The organization reserves the right to reject and cancel any deal that does not comply with tournament ethics.
Gladiator Series will only pay out deals authorized and verified by the tournament organization. Any deal made without authorization will be null and void, with no right to claim, and may lead to sanctions in future tournaments and disqualification from the Killer Ranking.
The winner of the tournament is always the player who wins the most money. If several players win the same amount, the winner is the one with the most chips at the moment of the deal. Prizes can only be modified at the final table. Different types of deals are allowed (chips, ICM, etc.), and players may leave part of the prizes in play; we recommend leaving at least 10% of the total prizes in play. The tournament clock will always reflect the actual prizes.
Once a deal is made, no more Killer Ranking points are awarded for eliminations in that tournament.
Tournaments not finished before the casino closes
If a tournament is not finished at closing time, it ends with an ICM deal among the remaining players.
Players per table
Whenever the logistics allow it, tables are played 9-handed during Day 1 and Day 2, and 8-handed from the bubble. Final tables are played with one player more than a full table of the event. Specific formats (6-max, 4-max Flip & Go, 3-max) are played as announced.
Better Stack
In multi-flight events players may play as many Day 1 flights as they want and qualify for Day 2 with their best stack.
Late registration
The late registration period always ends with 20 big blinds or more in the starting stack. Each tournament shows its last level of registration in the schedule.
Big Blind Ante
All tournaments are played with Big Blind Ante (BB ante), with the full ante maintained until Heads-Up (inclusive).
Bounties
Every side event of the Gladiator Series is a bounty tournament. Bounties are paid as announced for each format (Direct KO, PKO, Ultra PKO, KO Accumulator, Bounty Quattro, Bounty Five, Mystery Bounty). Split pots and multiple eliminations in the same hand are resolved following TDA rules.
Retentions
7% of the buy-in (KO excluded) is withheld for organization and marketing, also in case of overlay.
3% of the buy-in (KO excluded) is withheld for the Festival Killer Ranking, also in case of overlay, and distributed in full among the best classified players of each festival (2.000€ GTD per festival).
Guarantees
For a guarantee to be valid, there must be 10 or more players registered at the scheduled start time of the tournament. Otherwise the tournament is played normally but without guarantee.
Bounties are always included in the guaranteed prize pool. The retentions above also apply in case of overlay.
Killer Ranking
Each festival has its own Killer Ranking: 1 point per elimination in every tournament and 2 points per elimination in the High Roller and in the Main Event Day 2 and Final Day. Prizes are awarded as packs for the next Gladiator Series stop and are personal; packs with a Main Event entry + 3 hotel nights can be exchanged for a High Roller or Main Event Power Buy-in entry.
Image rights
All players who register for a Gladiator Series tournament agree that their image may be photographed and recorded for marketing and promotional purposes. Players who do not want to appear in photos or videos can inform the team in advance and our marketing team will avoid publishing their image.
Changes
The organization reserves the right to change, modify, postpone or cancel any advertised event.
