Bounties are not paid on the spot: they accumulate. Eliminate a player and you take all their bounties — they are yours only when you reach the money.
The Accumulator KO is a dynamic variant of bounty tournaments for players who enjoy building up rewards throughout the tournament. Its particularity in the Gladiator Series is that the more opponents you eliminate, the bigger your own bounty grows: a snowball effect that rewards consistent hunters.
What is an Accumulator KO tournament?
The Accumulator KO is one of the most original bounty formats of the Gladiator Series. Here bounties are not paid on the spot: they accumulate. Every elimination adds up, and what you carry is only really yours when you reach the money.
As in a Regular KO, part of the buy-in goes to the bounty and every player starts with one. The difference is what happens when you eliminate someone: you take all their chips and all the bounties they hold, and they are added to yours. It does not matter if they have the same bounties as you or more — you take them ALL.

How it works
- Before the money — Bounties stay in play and nobody cashes them. Every elimination passes all the bounties of the eliminated player to the eliminator. If you are knocked out in this phase, all the bounties you have accumulated go to your opponent.
- At the money (ITM) — When the tournament reaches the paid places, every player cashes all the bounties they hold at that moment. From then on bounties are no longer in play and the event continues as a regular tournament.
Why it is so much fun
In most tournaments the bubble is the same for everyone. Not in the Accumulator KO: every player lives a different bubble depending on the bounties they carry. Whoever has accumulated a lot risks much more in every all-in before the money; whoever carries few has less to lose and a lot to win by eliminating one of the big accumulators. That makes the phase before the money one of the most intense and strategic of the tournament.
