No bounties until 20% of the field is left — then every elimination pays five times the initial bounty.
The Bounty Five is a variant that adds extra firepower to bounty tournaments. In the Gladiator Series, every time you eliminate an opponent you take five bounties, not one. It is a KO variant very similar to the Bounty Quattro, but with an even bigger bounty.
Phase one: regular play
At the start the tournament plays like any other: everybody fights to survive and build a stack, and there are no bounties yet. The goal is to reach the moment the bounties are unlocked, when 20% of the players remain.
Phase two: the Bounty Phase begins
When the tournament reaches 20% of the field, every elimination pays a bounty worth 5 times the initial bounty — that is why it is called Bounty Five. Every knockout pays much more than in the usual formats, which makes these events especially attractive for bounty hunters and aggressive players.
For example, in a 250€ tournament with a 100€ KO, the Bounty Five bounties are worth 500€ (100€ × 5).

Keep in mind that you are not in the money yet: the bounties you win are already yours, but the paid places usually start at 10–12% of the field.
Why players love it
Five bounties at once make every elimination feel like a jackpot. There is more pressure in every all-in, and chips and prizes pile up much faster than in standard formats.
The Bounty Five in the Gladiator Series
The Bounty Five is one of the recurring formats in the Gladiator schedules.
- Usual buy-in — 250€ (125€ + 100€ KO + 25€ fee). The 125€ go to the prize pool and the 100€ are paid out in the KO phase as 500€ bounties.
- Day 1 — Played until 20% of the field remains, when the 500€ KOs come into play.
- ITM — Around 12%, so the prizes are much more spread out.
- In Lisboa 2027 — The Deepstack (150€ = 80€ + 50€ Bounty Five + 20€), with 250€ bounties (50€ × 5).
